Great pics and website. Served from Oct.67 to Jan.68 aboard YFR 890. Up and down delta from Saigon to Vinh Long (Binh Thuy)delivering food and ammunition. Sa Dec, Dong Tam, Nha Be, My Tho, and all the beauty spots along the way. Fortunately, I transferred to NSA, Saigon just before the Tet Offensive in 68 and spent the remainder of two tours there. Thanks for bringing back lots of great memories, and some not so great. Keep up the good work. Wish I could make the reunion in Vegas, but am unable this year. Maybe I can make one in the future. If you hear from any guys who worked in the supply office at NSA Saigon during my tour, please forward to me. Would like to contact some of them. Have been in touch with Tom LeFavour, who has a link from your page. Thanks again. Don West, SK2, USN NSA, Saigon 1967-69

I did however prefer the Mike with its 1" plating, 7-50 cal, 2-7.62 cal, 81mm mortar, 106mm recoiless and 4 honeywell 40mm grenade launchers, not to forget the toys that we normally carried.
